Sky Tower

We’re researching things-to-do in Singapore. Jeremy is looking at the Tiger Sky Tower:

J: Oh, we should go to the Sky Tower. You can see the entire city.
A: Yeah, how do you get up there though?
J: You start at the bottom and it takes you up to the top.

For the record, I was inquiring into the presence or absence of a glass elevator…

I was just wondering when we’d get our next Jeremyism. They are perhaps my favorite entries…

My parents will have loads of ideas where you should go while you’re in Singapore. In general, Vishal and I only did the free things because we had no money. Our favorites were the Chinese Gardens and the river walk, so you could look into those. But I hear the zoo does a nighttime safari that might be worth the money. The truth is, Vishal and I spent most of our time hanging out at the pool and playing tennis, and of course eating at the local hawkers and playing board game with my parents. It’s good you’re doing your research now because your time there will fly by and it’ll be best to have a plan of action so you can check off all the ‘must-dos’ before you leave.

Can’t wait to see you two on Friday! We’ll call when we get close. Enjoy your week, and your work Christmas party on Friday.

Yes, I agree that Jeremyisms are excellent.

The Sky Tower was okay. My mother and I went up it when I visited Singapore more than a year ago. It is a circular room that revolves as it moves up the tower. You do get a nice view of the city, Sentosa Island and the ocean. It’s a little expensive for the few minutes it lasts, but it’s probably worth it if you make it to Sentosa Island anyway.
