Jeremy spoke with our loan officer and the appraiser yesterday and was left with a bad taste in his mouth, so we started the process all over again with another bank last night.
Imagine our surprise when our loan officer called this morning to say that the appraiser had run the numbers over again and came in at exactly $1000 over what we need ($26K over her original number.) And that’s with generous estimate in our contractor’s quote plus a new front door.
HOLY STINKIN STINK, WE’RE ADDING ON TO OUR HOUSE!!!!!

Sorry, yep we’re going with the original loan. I was blogging at work on a mini-lunch. I figured my complaints have been very prompt so far… I should probably share my rejoicings promptly as well!
